The first lady almost suffered a major wardrobe malfunction just like Kate Middleton, but luckily the President was there to hold down her dress!
Michelle Obama, 50, attended the Southwestern city to tour the LBJ Presidential Library, as well as the commemoration ceremonies for the 50th anniversary of the Civil Rights Act, with husband Barack Obama, 52. The happy couple were all smiles boarding Air Force One with grace and ease — and it was all thanks to Barack, that is! Her hubby was on skirt patrol, keeping her hem firmly down so that she didn’t flash the world. How sweet is that?
Michelle Obama’s Wardrobe Malfunction — President Holds Skirt Down:
Crisis averted! Michelle Obama had trouble on the way as the wind started to pick up. There was a huge opportunity for a tragic wardrobe malfunction to occur, but not on Barack’s watch. Luckily President Obama was standing close by to wife Michelle, assisting her with any battle between her skirt and the wind. The first lady was wearing a blue and black striped full skirt with a white top and matching sweater and a gorgeous pearl brooch. When the couple ascended up the stairs to board the plane, Barack was quick to react to the lifting skirt and placed his hands on her bottom to keep the skirt down.
Kate Middleton’s Wardrobe Malfunction:
We are so thankful for his quick reaction and he really did save the day! Kate Middleton,32, was not as lucky as Michelle, when she dealt with her own wardrobe malfunctions in New Zealand earlier this week while arriving in the country for Prince George’s first official tour. Maybe next time Prince William can lend a hand!
What do you think about Michelle’s close call?
