Miley Cyrus paid tribute to her dog Floyd, at her April 5 Bangerz tour stop in Brooklyn NY after the 2-year-old pup was tragically attacked and killed by a coyote on April 1. Singing a heartfelt rendition of her hit, ‘Can’t Be Tamed’ to the giant replica of Floyd, Miley crumbled to her knees as she sang to his memory.
Miley Cyrus Plays Tribute To Dog Floyd
The 21-year-old songstress brought a giant 60-foot replica of Floyd onstage during her April 5 concert in Brooklyn and sang a heartfelt rendition of Can’t Be Tamed.
It is always hard to lose a pet — but Miley has had a very tough year and has leaned on her dogs for support through the rough times. A dogs love is unconditional and Miley definitely leaned on Floyd after her called off engagement to Liam Hemsworth in the fall of 2013.
Mother, Tish Cyrus meant well by giving Miley a new puppy, Moonie, but poor Miley is heart-broken. In the video of Miley’s tribute to Floyd, Miley can be seen on her knees with her head against the replica of Floyd’s paw crying before she has to stop singing mid-way through her song.

We feel awful for Miley! She is being such a trooper by continuing on with her tour even though she is clearly heart-broken. We think her tribute to Floyd is beautiful and we hope that everyone supports Miley while she continues to heal.
