Good news for Jenelle Evans! The ‘Teen Mom 2’ star will finally be able to divorce her estranged husband, Courtland Rogers. Jenelle has been legally separated from Courtland for a year now, which means she can finally file for divorce and continue to move on with her life.
Jenelle Evans & Courtland Rogers Will Divorce
Can you believe it has already been a year since married couple Jenelle and Courtland were ordered by a judge to stay away from each other?
Thankfully, after Jenelle’s April 23, 2013 arrest for heroin possession, she listened to the judge and stayed as far away from Courtland as possible. Jenelle was not able to divorce Courtland immediately though, because in the state of North Carolina you have to be legally separated from your spouse for one year before you can even file for divorce.
So, what does that mean? In exactly 20 days, Jenelle will finally be able to petition for divorce from Courtland!
This is such exciting news, because Jenelle has really cleaned up her act since she splitting with heroin addict Courtland. After meeting her new boyfriend Nathan, the two moved into a house together, and the happy couple are expecting their first child in June 2014.
Courtland Still In Trouble With The Law
Jenelle may have cleaned up her act since splitting with her ex, but sadly Courtland has done the opposite.
In February 2014, a graphic video of Courtland shooting heroin into his arm hit the internet. The video was filmed in October 2013, but was released four months later by Radar Online following the tragic accidental death of Philip Seymour Hoffman.
Just recently, Courtland was arrested for felony larceny charges after he was caught stealing jewelry from a friends house and pawning it for cash.
