Drake’s ‘Days In The East’: Rapper Releases Song For Rihanna
Drake can’t hide anything from us. Just one look at the lyrics to his new track “Days In The East” and you can tell right away that he’s all strung out on RiRi.
“I’m terrible at inviting myself, call me over
Those nights when you need someone else call me over
You can be the one to take control call me over
When I get there, you already know, call me.”
Boom! And that’s just the hook. What do you think he’s trying to say HollywoodLifers? Maybe that she can take control sometimes and that’s ok? You guys let us know!
The track seemingly goes on to diss Rihanna’s ex Chris Brown, who is currently spending time the clink.
“Told you about giving him chances and chances and chances
He’s not holding you down, he’s holding you back right now.”
The lyrics sound like a diss to a certain convict to us.
Drake Releases ‘Days In The East’ Track: Song Hints At Rihanna Romance
It makes sense that the Canadian rapper would be singing his love for the island diva. On April 2, HollywoodLife.com EXCLUSIVELY reported that the industry power couple was thinking about moving in together.
“She’d love to maybe one day soon see if they can co-exist together and try the whole living with each other thing,” a source close to Rihanna tells HollywoodLife.com EXCLUSIVELY. “But she’s not trying to force anything. She wants it to unfold and to let him take control of that.”
The two have been pretty much inseparable ever since they decided to start seeing each other exclusively, so maybe this track, and their inability to part from one another are signs of an inseparable further together as well.
What do you think HollywoodLifers, do you think these two are headed down the aisle? Let us know what’s on your minds.
