Emma Watson has totally become this spring’s ‘It Girl.’ With the box office hit ‘Noah’ in theaters and a new cover spread under her belt, it seems like the world can’t get enough of this former child star.

Emma Watson, 23, channeled 1950s glamour with her gorgeous retro look on the April 2014 cover of Elle Australia. Click below to read more about her stunning look and the juicy details she gave the magazine.

Emma Watson For ‘Elle’ Australia — She’s All Grown Up

Like most former child stars, Emma has been working to establish her own identity after her portrayal of the adorable best friend to Harry Potter.

She admitted to the magazine that: “Sometimes I had a hard time convincing directors that I can play more adult roles.” Well, she’s clearly all grown up in Elle. She graced the April covers for both the Australia and the US versions. Get it, Emma!

The actress also shared that she’d rather not date guys that are famous! Believe it or not, she actually likes to keep her dating life out of the spotlight and she wishes she could protect her guy pals from the invasive attention.

Emma Watson’s Chic Cover Look

By this point, we’re well aware that Emma is fierce, and she reminded us with her retro glam cover look. Her hair was styled in a teased, volumized ponytail with a dramatic side part. Flyaways weren’t tamed to keep her look sexy and care-free. Her eyes were lined with a thick cat liner and her lips were touched with a nude color. We love that this look has the ability to look fabulous and low maintenance at the same time!
