LuAnn de Lesseps has never been shy with her words in front of the camera, and on Celebrities Undercover, she puts her money where her mouth is, giving her smack-talking followers a piece of her mind. The catch? She’s completely undercover, and it’s all a part of a planned stunt for Wendy Williams‘ new hidden-camera series.
LuAnn de Lesseps Faces Her Fans (Or Lack Thereof) On ‘Celebrities Undercover’
LuAnn de Lesseps is making her fair share of appearances on the Real Housewives of New York City this season, but she’s showing up on yet another reality show. And she’s coming unannounced — and unrecognizable.
The reality star and singer takes aim at her fans (or lack thereof) in Oxygen’s new hidden-camera show Celebrities Undercover by attending a fake luncheon filled with wealthy, but uncomplimentary, fans of the Real Housewives.
“I love hidden camera shows,” LuAnn told HollywoodLife.com EXCLUSIVELY. “I always wanted to do improv and play someone other than myself so I thought it would be fun and it was!”
Apparently LuAnn’s idea of fun is barging in on a group of lunching ladies! The group of Housewives wannabes are caught gabbing badly about reality shows, namely the Real Housewives, over their champagne, and we can’t wait for LuAnn to step in.
“With the shows that are on now, it just seems like you don’t have to have any talent,” says one lady, who LuAnn proclaims is desperate. The woman also comments that she’d like to be on a Bravo reality star herself. Smells like hypocrisy and jealousy to us!
The lady specifically calls out Countess LuAnn, comparing her royalty status to that of the Mattress King. Ouch!
LuAnn is seen rolling her eyes in this EXCLUSIVE first-look video so we can’t wait to see what happens when she confronts the group of women — fully incognito!
Other celebrities who have or will take part in executive producer Wendy Williams’ hidden camera show are Kim Kardashian, Lil’ Kim, Joey Fatone, Ice T and Coco.
LuAnn’s episode of Celebrities Undercover airs April 1 (perfect timing) at 10:30pm ET on Oxygen.
