Nobody is perfect, not even celebrities. Lorde is admitting her skin isn’t acne-free and is standing up for her beliefs on Twitter. Find out what she said to her fans below.

“Royals” singer, Lorde, 17, took to Twitter on March 30 to explain that imperfections are okay. We definitely agree with what she had to say! Read more to find out a great acne system made for teens just like Lorde!

Lorde’s Acne Pic — Says ‘Remember Flaws Are Ok’

Lorde uploaded a Twitter post on March 30 showing her fans two pictures. One image (top photo) was the edited version of her face and the other (bottom image) was raw without anything touched up.

She captioned the split photo: “I find this curious — two photos from today, one edited so my skin is perfect and one real. remember flaws are ok :-)”

At only 17, she’s still a teenager and you know what that means… acne! The teenage years are when pimples start to rise up, and not just for Lorde, but for everyone! Lorde explained how it’s okay to have flaws and that no one is perfect.

We definitely agree! Although it’s super difficult to clear up your skin completely, you can try some of these products to help fight the acne.

We recommend X Outwhich is an acne treatment system created from the makers of the famous Proactiv. This system is specifically made for teenagers like Lorde. It’s a one step acne wash that you put on twice a day for just two minutes. Just massage and rinse. It’s that simple!

Shake It Up star Zendaya Coleman uses it and is actually a brand ambassador for the wash. It looks like it definitely works on her!

We love Lorde’s message to her fans!
