The new ‘Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles’ trailer is amazing and we can’t wait until this action-packed movie hits theaters on Aug. 8. The just-released teaser is packed with reasons to love this movie — including suspense, big laughs and awesome fight scenes!
The heroes in a half shell are back and this time, they’ll be hitting the big screen for Michael Bay‘s epic, live-action adaptation of everyone’s favorite childhood cartoon. Turtle power!
‘Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles’ Movie: The Heroes In A Half Shell Look Amazing
The Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles trailer is everything it should be — filled with action, suspense, cool fighting scenes featuring incredible martial art, and of course, some outrageously funny jokes from the TMNTs themselves: Leonardo, Donatello, Raphael and Michelangelo!
You already know the storyline. The bad guys are coming in, tearing the city apart with crime and vandalism, and causing quite a bit of trouble that the police department is just unequipped to handle. The city is in dire straights and it looks like the bad guys will succeed in destroying humanity — that is, until four BIG green guys step in!
The Turtles Kick Butt While Making Everyone Laugh
We’ve only seen the trailer, but we can tell that the turtles are going to come in and kick some serious butt while making us laugh the whole way through the film. In fact, did you see the funny part at the end of the clip where star Megan Fox (who plays the turtle team’s good friend April O’Neil) faints?
It’s too funny. In what appears to be their first meeting, Leonardo falls from the sky, right in front of April. She’s so incredibly scared that she begins to backpedal, and that’s when Michelangelo falls from the sky behind her! In an attempt to calm her fears, Michelangelo says, “Whoa, chill, it’s just a mask. See, don’t freak out.” She clearly thinks he means the whole turtle thing is a mask, but when he simply removes his orange bandana, poor April hits the ground cold.
It’s simply hilarious and we can’t wait to see this action-packed film, which will hit theaters Aug. 8.
How about YOU, HollywoodLifers? Are YOU excited to see Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles? Who is YOUR favorite turtle? Let us know!
