Teen Turmoil On ‘The 100’ — Will Fighting Get In The Way Of Saving Humanity?

Did you catch the CW’s new hit series The 100 last week? If not, here’s what you need to know: 100 juvenile delinquents who happen to be humanity’s lone survivors following a nuclear war were released onto a desolate planet Earth, after being housed in a spaceship, The Ark, for nearly 100 years. The goal is for them to repopulate the planet, but on tonight’s March 26 episode, two of the teens are already fighting so it’s not looking too promising!

As seen in HollywoodLife.com‘s EXCLUSIVE first-look photo (above), Murphy and Wells are fighting in the middle of the jungle. We’re no experts on apocalyptic settings, but we’ve got to imagine that bloodying up your peers isn’t the way to a whole new world.

Besides Murphy and Wells’ troubles, there’s more problems on tonight’s episode. After finding out that their friend Jasper (Devon Bostick) may still be alive, Clarke (Eliza Taylor), Bellamy (Bob Morley), Octavia (Marie Avgeropoulos), Finn (Thomas McDonell) and Monty (Chris Larkin) set out on a mission to locate him and they’re shocked by what they find.

Meanwhile, Abby (Paige Turco), who’s on the Ark (aka the spaceship, which has been housing the world’s lone survivors), is determined to get to Earth and asks Raven (guest star Lindsey Morgan) to help with an escape route.

‘The 100’ Is A Hit!

When The 100 premiered on March 19th, it drew 2.7 million viewers and became the CW’s most watched midseason premiere in four years, since Life Unexpected in 2010. (Who else remembers that show?)

The 100 airs tonight, March 26, at 9/8c on The CW. Grey’s Anatomy‘s Isaiah Washington and Henry Ian Cusick (Lost, Law & Order: SVU) also star in the sci-fi drama.

HollywoodLifers, are you a fan of The 100 and will you be tuning into tonight’s second episode? Let us know in the comments!
