Lauren Conrad For ‘Allure’ — Sexy Smokey Eye & Retro Hair
Lauren’s parents have been married since she was 17! Her mom said it’s important to make a space to be together. Lauren says that room is her bedroom:
“I wanted it to be very calm,” she told the magazine, adding that she is trying to stop working in the bedroom. “Your bed is for sleep and sex.”
Lauren’s Cover Look — Beauty & Fashion
Lauren smolders in a Kaufmanfranco dress on the cover and a dress by Juan Carlos Obando as well as jeans from her LC Lauren Conrad for Kohl’s line inside the magazine.
Her sexy smokey eye was done by celebrity makeup artist Melanie Inglessis.
She aimed to keep her skin “fresh and dewy.”
According to Allure, “she drew a thick line just below the creases on the star’s eyelids with a black kohl liner, then smudged a gray cream shadow into the creases. For a subtle glow, Inglessis blended a golden bronzer on Conrad’s cheekbones, nose, and forehead. Then she pressed on a blush-nude lip color.”
Hairstylist Serge Normant styled her hair with a ’60’s feel. “There’s a chicness about it, even though it’s sexy.” He used a volumizing spray, then blow dried with a Harry Josh Pro Dryer, then curled for a “hint of retro, but soft, sex appeal.”
