We’re not at all surprised that X-Men: Days of Future Past is going there! After all, the chemistry between Jennifer Lawrence and Michael Fassbender was scorching hot in X-Men: First Class. (Spoiler alert: a shirtless and ripped Wolverine is a close second to the steamy scene.) Click to watch the brand new trailer!
‘X-Men: Days Of Future Past': Wolverine Is Back!
Besides the potential lip lock between J-Law and Michael, the brilliant thing about X-Men: Days of Future Past is that it’s bringing together all of the characters featured in the X-Men movies over the last 14 years.
The film, directed by the amazing Bryan Singer, features young and old versions of Magneto (played by Michael Fassbender and Ian McKellen) and Professor Xavier (played by James McAvoy and Patrick Stewart). Characters returning from 2011’s X-Men: First Class also include Jennifer Lawrence as Raven/Mystique; Nicholas Hoult as Hank McCoy (“Beast”) and Lucas Till as Alex Summers (“Havok”). Even Halle Berry and Anna Paquin from the original X-Men movie from 2000 are also back!
‘X-Men: Days Of Future Past': The Ultimate Battle Is Here!
When it comes to this new X-Men movie, one things’ for sure: This will be the biggest battle the X-Men have ever fought! “So many battles waged over the years. And yet, none like this,” a concerned Patrick Stewart says in the trailer. “Are we destined to destroy each other? Or can we change who we are and unite?” he asks.
We can’t wait to find out! X-Men: Days of Future Past opens in theaters May 23!
