The entire crop of contestants is better than ever on this season of ‘The Voice’, but I’m calling out four certain ladies who are really setting the stage for Season 6. Before you tune in tonight, click to see who will win their head-to-head battles — and might just go all the way.
The Voice continues with its second week of the battle rounds tonight, and I can’t wait to see these four female frontrunners take the spotlight. Who are they? Keep reading to find out!
‘The Voice’ Frontrunners — Who Are They?
The Voice blind auditions are long gone, and the battle rounds are bringing the heat to primetime. But who’s the hottest singer of them all? Well, there are four ladies who got chairs to turn around faster than Shakira can speak Spanish, and I bet they’ll make it far into this cutthroat competition.
Disclaimer: If The Voice: Italy contestant Sister Cristina was competing in America, these ladies would stand no chance. I cannot get over how incredible the nun was! But, since we’re not covering Italian television, let’s start with another Christina…
Christina Grimmie stole the show from the moment she opened the season with her amazing performance of Miley Cyrus’ “Wrecking Ball.” HollywoodLife.com complimented her for delivering quite possibly the best audition we’ve ever seen, and I bet her battle round will go just as seamlessly.
However, if there is one girl who can take down Christina, it’s another youngin’, Bria Kelly. Why? Well, do you remember when the tiny powerhouse closed the first night of auditions, causing all four judges to spin around their seats? Plus, she’s also a teen scream queen who blew away the judges and has the talent to blow away contestants who are double her age.
Case in point: Sissaundra Lewis. She used to be Celine Dion‘s vocal director — she even got a special video shot out from Celine before her blind audition — so it’s safe to say that this lady can sing! Sissaundra already won her battle round, beating out former pop star, Paula DeAnda. HollywoodLife.com deemed her a frontrunner last week, and I’m sticking to it! We should be seeing a lot more of Sissaundra, once the live shows begin.
My last top pick is Clarissa Serna, who is also already safe, after a successful battle round. Clarissa went up against unlucky contestant Jeremy Briggs and prevailed in their hot showdown of “Cold As Ice.” We knew that the raspy rocker chick was one to keep an eye on when she got the attention of Adam, Blake, Shakira and Usher with her standout rendition of “Zombie,” during her blind audition.
Could Teen Queens Christina Grimmie And Bria Kelly Go Up Against Each Other?
What happens if two if the frontrunners go up against each other? Thankfully, that’s impossible! Christina is on Team Adam and Bria is on Team Usher. If these girls were pitted against each other, The Voice stage might just combust.
We chatted with Christina early in the season, and she assured us that her and Bria are already great friends and they won’t let the competition get in between them. That’s what we like to hear! We’ll stay tuned to see if these ladies go head-to-head in the finals. They are just that good!
HollywoodLifers, what do you think about this season’s contestants — do you agree that Season 6 belongs to the ladies? And which one do you think could take the big prize?
