‘Game of Thrones’ Star Blasts Justin Bieber: ‘The Joffrey Baratheon Of Our Time’

‘Game Of Thrones’ is far from a comedy, but some of the actors on the show sure are funny! Especially Sophie Turner. The 18-year-old British actress recently made a jab at Justin Bieber’s expense and it’s nothing short of amazing.

In an interview with London’s Sunday Times, Sophie Turner was asked if she has a lot in common with Sansa, her Game Of Thrones character. Sophie replied by saying, “Maybe when I first joined the show. I was only 13 [and] I was one of those girls that read OK! 12 times a week and I was all ‘Ooh, Justin Bieber’ — who is the Joffrey Baratheon of our time.” Oh snap! Did she just compare the Biebs to the most obnoxious fictional TV character of all time. That’s gotta hurt!

Sophie Turner Isn’t A Belieber

Game Of Thrones‘ fourth season premieres on April 6, and this story might just be better than today’s newly released trailer.

In case you’re not familiar with Game of Thrones or the character Joffrey Baratheon, here’s a quick description: He’s a young, obnoxious, vicious king who is hated by every character in the series. Oh, and he loves to hurt and torture women.

So if Sophie is saying that Justin has a lot in common with Joffrey, then that must mean she doesn’t think very highly of the Canadian pop star. Right?

Justin Bieber Is Joffrey Baratheon

As surprising as it is that Sophie compared Justin to Joffrey, this isn’t the first time the singer’s been compared to the vicious king. In June of 2013, someone created a Tumblr page called Joffrey Bieber with a tagline that read, “When fiction’s biggest brat and real life’s biggest brat become one!” Yikes!

HollywoodLifers, what do you think of Sophie’s comments — is The Biebs the Joffrey Baratheon of our time? Dish in the comments!
