For those of you who are already team #Carenzo, hide your eyes!
On the March 20 episode of The Vampire Diaries, Caroline (Candice Accola) was introduced to Enzo (Michael Malarkey), and immediately you could feel the sexual tension and attraction behind their snappy conversations. But this is so not a good idea, on any level.
‘Vampire Diaries’: Caroline, Don’t Date Enzo
Sure, he’s hot, he’s a vampire, and he has an accent — all traits that Caroline (and every other woman alive) would fall for. He also is a good friend, for the most part, to Damon (Ian Somerhalder), even after he left him to die a horrible burning death.
However, Caroline is already stuck between a half-vamp and a hard place. After hooking up with Klaus (Joseph Morgan), and still trying to get Tyler (Michael Trevino) back, there’s no room for another man in her life. However, I do find it interesting that Tyler was a werewolf, Klaus was a hybrid and Enzo that would the first vamp — all she needs is a traveler and a witch, and wa-lah! She’s got all the supernatural world covered.
Carenzo: Become Friends & That’s It
During next week’s episode, “Rescue Me,” we know the relationship blossoms even more. Part of the synopsis is below:
In order to keep Stefan (Paul Wesley) from being harmed by Sloan (Caitlin McHugh) and the Travelers, Caroline and Enzo agree to make a trip to Atlanta to find a newly discovered doppelganger. Caroline is surprised when Enzo opens up to her about his past.
So we know they’re becoming closer, which is fine because she’s the master of being BFFs with hot vampires. However, it’s odd that she would even be interested when he’s connected to Damon, the person she pretty much hates more than anyone else.
If Caroline’s going to hook up with a new vampire, my vote is for Stefan, just because it’s a long time coming. What do you think HollywoodLifers? Should Caroline and Enzo be a new romance? Let me know!
