‘Mad Men’ Trailer — Teaser Gets Us Pumped For Final Season
It looks like anything could happen during the final season of Mad Men. The new trailer shows all of our favorite characters making moves at the airport, with the tagline “It’s all up in the air.” The sexy new teaser, which closes with the clever line “Mad Men takes off Sunday April 13,” is set to the smooth, sultry tones of “Breakdown” by Alice Russell.

But the stars’ fabulous costumes are what really take center stage in this 30-second teaser — it’s ’70s attire at its very best, by the show’s masterful designer, Janie Bryant.
E! spoke with Mad Men star Kiernan Shipka, who plays Sally Draper on the series, regarding her evolving style this season. “Her style at the beginning, rightfully so, looked like her mother dressed her and that’s how it was supposed to be,” Kiernan said. “But this season, it looks like she is dressing herself a little bit more and getting a little bit more sassy. Her skirts have been getting shorter and shorter throughout the season.”
Ooooh, groovy baby!
‘Mad Men’ Season 7 Will Be Split Into Two Parts
Much like AMC’s other epic series Breaking Bad, Mad Men‘s final season will be divided into two parts — “The Beginning,” which will air April 13, 2014, and “The End of An Era,” set for release in 2015.
“We plan to take advantage of this chance to have a more elaborate story told in two parts, which can resonate a little bit longer in the minds of our audience,” show creator Michael Weiner explained. “The writers, cast and other artists welcome this unique manner of ending this unique experience.”
All we can say is, the more Mad Men, the merrier! Do you agree, HollywoodLifers? Are you looking forward to Season 7? Let us know!
