Absence really does make the heart grow fonder. It’s been more than three months since Khloe filed for divorce from Lamar on Dec. 13, and now the former NBA star is finally realizing what he’s missing and vowing to get his wife back!

There’s an old saying that you can judge the dog in the fight, but you can’t judge the fight in the dog. Well, we may have underestimated Lamar Odom because he is putting up one helluva fight to save his marriage to wife Khloe Kardashian!

Lamar Odom On Khloe Kardashian Marriage — He Wants To Make It Work With Wife

Now that Lamar seems to have a better grip on his life, he wants Khloe to give him and their marriage one last chance.

“I want to make it work with Khloé,” Lamar reveals in the latest issue of In Touch Weekly magazine. “‘I’m going to see Khloé. I’m going to see her soon.”

Lamar, 34, and Khloe, 29, have apparently been communicating a lot this month. In fact, they recently had an intimate phone conversation in which he practically begged her to take him back.

“He confessed his feelings and cried his heart out to her on the phone,” a source tells the publication. “She’d been avoiding his texts and calls for weeks, but when she heard him pleading with her to take him back, she melted.”

Khloe Kardashian Still Struggling With Divorce

While it’s unclear whether Khloe will actually have a second go-around with Lamar, she has admitted that she’s still struggling with their split.

“It’s definitely not anything I’m through,” Khloe confessed in an interview with Australian radio show 2Day FM on March 18. “I’m going through it, but I’m not through it.”
