Kanye West doesn’t want Kim Kardashian to be part of Keeping Up with the Kardashians; Scott Disick is looking for a more private life with Kourtney Kardashian and their kids; fans are sick of Kris Jenner — all of these reasons put together are why the hit E! show is coming to an end, claims in a new report.
No worries, Kardashian lovers. The Star magazine report is “not true,” a source close to the sisters told HollywoodLife.com exclusively.
“Keeping Up with the Kardashians continues to be a successful series and appointment television,” the show’s press manager at E! told us. “New episodes of the series will premiere later this year, and the family is signed on to film the 10th season of Keeping Up with the Kardashians following that.”
In the mag, there are many reasons listed as to why the show is going to be canceled after the current season wraps — a main one being that Kanye’s over it all.
“Kanye doesn’t want her to be on the show anymore,” a source told the magazine. “He thinks it’s tacky, and she needs to move on now that she’s going to be a wife.” Plus, Kanye doesn’t want the “reality star” brand on him, but instead “be seen as a gifted musician again.”
However, Kim denied all of this in a tweet writing, “Heard a silly rumor that I’m quitting the show! Not true! Can’t wait to film season 10 soon! I have the best job being w my fam all day long.”
The magazine adds that Khloe Kardashian is part of the reason too. Since filing for divorce from Lamar Odom, she has began partying so much it’s “making her family look bad.”
So it looks like the Kardashians aren’t going anywhere anytime soon — they’ve actually got another special coming. Not only were they just in Miami filming their spinoff, but they’re also planning to film the Kimye wedding, HollywoodLife.com learned exclusively.
“They have filmed some things already to be on the upcoming special and will film stuff afterwards as well. But the Kim and Kanye special will be a stand-alone show on E!,” our source said.
Another source added that it won’t just be one long special, either!
“E! plans on airing Kim and Kanye’s wedding as a two-part special,” the insider said. “The event is way too important to only broadcast on Keeping Up with the Kardashians.”
