Clare’s confident sexuality should NOT have ruined her chances of becoming the next Bachelorette. With her humor, spirit and self-confidence, she would have made an amazing Bachelorette. Plus, she deserved to find true love! Don’t you agree?
When Clare Crawley pushed Bachelor Juan Pablo Galavis away after he rejected her on the finale of The Bachelor, she made Bachelor history, and great television.
Clare Crawley Should Have Been The Next Bachelorette
No finalist contestant on The Bachelor had EVER told off a Bachelor before when she discovered that she wasn’t going to be “the one.” We’ve seen tears and broken hearts before, but never an aggressive “F U” response. And Clare, we have to say that Juan Pablo deserved every last bit of scorn that you dished out on national TV.
After all — just the night before, he had told you that he wanted to have a baby with you and whispering romantically that he liked you for all of you.[hl_ndn videoid=”25661214″]
There’s no question that he led you on — he did, big time.
But even worse, when he took you on what was supposed to be a romantic helicopter ride, he grossly told you that he loved “f***ing you.” How out of line! That’s why he deserved your tongue lashing. “I thought I believed in you. I lost respect for you. I thought I knew what kind of man you were. I would never want my children to have a father like you,” you blasted Juan Pablo, in a scene that left fans cheering in admiration.
That’s why you should have been named the next Bachelorette. You’re a take-no-prisoners female role model. You stood up for yourself in a way that many women wished they could.
Having a strong Bachelorette who refused to take any guff from her would-be suitors would have made for a fascinating season of The Bachelorette.
Clare Crawley Should Not Have Been Disqualified From Consideration For ‘The Bachelorette’ For Being Too Sexual
The fact that Clare was comfortable with her sexuality, went skinny dipping and then visited Juan Pablo’s room only shows that she’s a normal, single, 32-year-old American woman. She’s not a teenager. She’s an adult woman who enjoys being with a man that she has deep feelings for.
Millions of American women have skinny dipped with a man they love. Why should Clare be penalized for doing what comes naturally every day somewhere in America?
Clare’s “play” date with Juan Pablo was hardly scandalous. And again, it did make great TV. Aren’t ratings what a TV show is all about?
I do want to clarify — I think Andi Dorfman is also a fine choice for the next season of The Bachelorette. She’s smart, accomplished, fun, and a straight shooter, too!
It was terrific to watch her tell off Juan Pablo for his self-centered behavior after their overnight, and to call him an “a**hole.”
But, my point remains — Clare should NOT have been disqualified as Bachelorette because she was too “sexy!”
Do you agree, HollywoodLifers? Was it wrong to nix Clare for her skinny dip? Let me know.
