People of the world, rejoice! There is no longer a need to travel from bar to bar to find your favorite shot because there’s a new one that we know you’re going to love! French chef and baker Dominique Ansel, the creator of the cronut, has invented a Chocolate Chip Cookie Milk Shot. Yum!
Dominique Ansel is well known for his genius invention, the cronut, but he’s really outdone himself this time. He has brought the Chocolate Chip Cookie Milk Shot into this world and no, you don’t need an ID to consume this one. So when and where can you try this delicious new dessert out? Find out below!
Cookie Milk Shots — Cronut Inventor Dominique Ansel Makes New Genius Dessert
Dominique found his inspiration for the shot when he ate his first Oreo cookie a few weeks ago and drank a glass of milk along with it — which is not a common combination in French culture. Ansel figured that if everyone was drinking milk with cookies, then a dessert combining the two treats was a necessity. “Ansel has created a chocolate chip cookie recipe that stayed crispy and moist in parts, even as it held milk,” Eater raves.
Dominique is the proud owner of a bakery in SoHo in New York called Dominique Ansel Bakery. When asked if he would be serving the cookie shots in his bakery, he replied, “We’ll see!” We can only hope that will turn into a “Yes!”
Either way, we can be sure that they will be available somewhere very soon. Dominique took to Instagram on March 4 to reveal what his shots will look like and we are highly impressed to say the least.
Cookie Shots Set To Debut March 9 In Austin, Texas
We may not know if or when Dominique will have his cookie shots in his bakery, but we can tell you they will be available within the next few days in Austin, Texas!
The cookie shots will make their big debut at the SXSW convention in Austin, Texas on Sunday, March 9. So if you’ve never been to a SXSW convention and you’ve been wanting to, this is definitely the one to attend!
