Jenelle Evans Narrowly Escapes Facing Courtland Rogers
Jenelle Evans gears up for her “big” court date. She is finally facing the charges that stemmed from her arrest with estranged husband, Courtland Rogers. Jenelle is hoping to put it all behind her and move on with her new boyfriend, Nathan Griffith. The line of the night goes to Jenelle’s friend Tori though, when she says: “Finally! You have a boyfriend that doesn’t have a criminal record! First time for everything.” Jenelle seems concerned about seeing Courtland in the courtroom, especially since she’s going to have Nathan by her side. She’s even more concerned that Courtland might “come after” her when he gets out of jail. On court day, Jenelle explains to Nathan just how much she is terrified of Courtland. After all that stressing, Courtland isn’t even in the court when Jenelle is. Once the hearing is over, Jenelle’s lawyer explains to her everything that happened and how they are going to proceed. Her lawyer seems pleased that Jenelle has moved on with her life and started over, which is a great sign. It turns out that Jenelle only has one more court appearance left, and she can’t wait to get it over with. Towards the end of the episode, Jenelle finally spends some face time with her son Jace and her mom, Barbara Evans.
Leah Messer Enrolls Ali In Pre-School
Leah Messer is happy because having her husband Jeremy Calvert home has made her life much easier. Leah is preparing to enroll her daughter Ali in pre-school, and calls a “family meeting” of sorts with her ex Corey Simms and his wife, Miranda Patterson. Leah reminds Corey that the doctors suggested Ali start school early due to her muscular dystrophy diagnosis. After her first assessment, Ali gets placed in a special needs program at the pre-school. We also get a glimpse at how Aleeah has started acting out for attention. Once Leah, Jeremy, Corey, and Miranda finally sit down to discuss Ali being in school before Aleeah. Corey still finds it all unbelievable that Ali needs extra help, despite Leah and the doctor constantly trying to explain it to him. During their meeting, Corey admits that even though he plans to take care of Ali and give her everything she needs, he refuses to accept her diagnosis and doesn’t plan to change his mind any time soon. On a lighter note, the family gets together again towards the end of the episode to put together a bunch of clothes for Ali so she has a brand new wardrobe. Of course the conversation turns serious again when they start talking about their fears of letting Ali go to school on her own. It’s nice to see the whole family together though, and it ends with them all smiling.
Kailyn Lowry Has In-Law Problems Already
Kailyn Lowry is in Pennsylvania to work on planning her wedding with her friends Peach, Toni, and Gigi, but has some trouble with her husband Javi Marroqin‘s sister and cousin, Geni and Alecia. After asking them to be her bridesmaids, they are very vocal about hating everything Kailyn has picked out for her wedding already. Have they never been bridesmaids before?! How rude! Even worse, Geni and Alecia don’t show up for the hair style trials. Kailyn is slowly losing her patience with them, and you can tell that things are going to get ugly soon. While all of this is happening, Kailyn and Javi are still finishing moving to Delaware. The stress is weighing down on Kailyn, and she admits to a friend that she doesn’t feel connected with her baby due to her high stress levels. While discussing her new home in Delaware, Kailyn admits that she wants to rub it in her mom’s face because she didn’t do anything for her growing up. “Maybe I wouldn’t be the mother I am if she wasn’t the mother she was,” Kailyn tells her pal. Great point, Kailyn! While Kailyn and Javi are wrapping things up in Pennsylvania, he gets a text message from one of the girls saying that Kailyn is being bossy, not asking them what they think of things for the wedding, and that they are “not her bitch.” Yeah, these girls definitely have no idea what it means to be bridesmaids.
Chelsea Houska Reluctantly Lets Aubree See Her Dad
Chelsea Houska still isn’t over the fact that her ex Adam Lind and his new girlfriend Taylor Halbur just had a new baby together. She continues to vent about it to her friend Chelsey, even with Aubree still in the room. Not cool! Chelsea finally allows Aubree to spend some time with Adam, but only because his parents agreed to be there to supervise. While Chelsea focuses on esthetician school, Aubree gets to meet her new half-sister, Paisley. It’s an extremely sweet moment between Aubree, Adam, and the newborn that could warm even the coldest of hearts. When Chelsea finds out that Adam’s parents let Aubree stay at his house without them, she’s furious. As soon as Aubree gets home, Chelsea asks her a dozen questions about seeing her dad. When Aubree is unresponsive, Chelsea seems a little concerned. Later, she continues to moan about Adam while talking to him in the living room. It doesn’t look like these two are ever going to come to a custody agreement.
