Who wouldn’t want to perform in front of a crowd in their hometown? CM Punk wouldn’t and didn’t — fans quickly took to their Twitter accounts to express their disappointment at not being able to see their hometown hero.
Phillip Jack Brooks, otherwise known as CM Punk, was a no-show on March 3 for WWE’s Monday Night Raw, and fans were disappointed to say the least.
The disgruntled fans took their complaints and angry feelings to Twitter. Fans that weren’t even at the event — that were just watching from home — had some of the most powerful comments.
The comments were a mixture of sad, shocked, and confused.
Yup , no CM Punk the whole show . #RAW

It’s been a great show live, it’s just a shame that no one is able to enjoy themselves because of a missing CM Punk. (Me included)

CM Punk ditched the Royal Rumble on Jan. 27. WWE head, Vince McMahon, commented that CM was “taking a sabbatical.”
Fans assumed that CM would return for the show in his hometown on March 3, but despite the ear-shattering cheers that lasted throughout the entire event, he was a no-show.
What do you think HollywoodLifers, do the fans have a right to be upset? Leave us your thoughts in the comments.
