Andi Dorfman has raised her boss’ eyebrows because she’s skipping out on assisting with a murder trial in order to pursue a career on TV.
She gained our support as the feisty girl-next-door on Season 18 of The Bachelor and now it seems like Andi Dorfman, 26, is willing to leave her day job for television. Andi reportedly shocked her boss when she requested some time off in order to become the next Bachelorette. Let’s just say he didn’t take the news very well.
Andi Dorfman Leaving Murder Trial To Be On TV
Andi became one of America’s favorite Bachelor contestants when she showed the world how she’s not afraid to speak her mind. America was so in love with her that rumors immediately started swirling that she was going to be the next Bachelorette.
The rumors were confirmed on Feb. 27, but now it seems like her decision to do the show has stunned her boss. Fulton County District Attorney Paul Howard JR. has agreed to let Andi take the time off but still finds her decision “highly unusual,” reports TMZ.
While most law firms and prosecutors’ offices would be saying goodbye to Andi for good, Paul has begrudgingly allowed her to temporarily take the time off because she is “a valued member of the DA’s office.”
However, Paul will not let Andi go without penalty. She will not be paid for the time off and she has until May 31 to come back, otherwise it’s case closed on her job.
Andi Dorfman Speaks Her Mind
Andi garnered a lot of support from fans when she stood up for herself after having a terrible time with Juan Pablo during the Fantasy Suites portion of The Bachelor. The feisty lawyer called him an a**hole for being so into himself and for mentioning contestant Clare Crawley during their date. Andi later eliminated herself from the show completely.
Andi has also been throwing major shots to Juan Pablo on her social networking sites. When the episode aired, she posted an Instagram picture reenacting the weird eyebrow thing Juan Pablo was doing after she went off on him. The picture was captioned, “Ummm — Please don’t mess up my makeup — Eeees okay,” a clear jab at Juan Pablo’s accent.
What do you think Hollywoodlifers? Do you support Andi’s decision to leave her career for The Bachelorette?
