The verdict is in for Jeffrey Hubbard, the man riding the jet ski that ran over and killed Usher’s 11-year-old stepson Kile Glover in 2012. Jeffrey has been convicted on five different counts including homicide by vessel.
Jet Skier Found Guilty In Death Of Usher’s Stepston
On July 6, 2012, Usher’s 11-year-old stepson Kile Glover suffered severe brain damage after being run over by a man riding a jet ski. Kile was lounging on an inflatable tube in a Georgia lake when the incident happened. After two weeks in a coma, Kile passed away on July 21. Seven months later, Jeffrey Hubbard was arrested on Feb. 28, 2013 when he was also indicted with homicide by vessel, serious injury by vessel, as well as reckless operation of a vessel.
Now, almost two years after the accident, Jeffrey has been found guilty and was finally convicted on five counts.
Usher Opens Up About Loss Of Stepson Kile
A few weeks after Kile passed away, Usher shared a heartfelt message to his stepson for the world to see on Twitter. However, he was careful to keep his thoughts to a minimum to avoid any misunderstandings by his fans.
