We all knew that Kevin Spacey’s Frank Underwood was a morally bankrupt weasel, but his actions in the Season 2 ‘House of Cards’ premiere are so despicable we nearly spit out our candy hearts. Don’t read on if you don’t want to know who died on ‘House of Cards!’
House of Cards has been gone for almost a year, so we knew that they would open up with a bang come the Feb. 14 debut of Season 2. But who have ever thought that things would get so bloody? MASSIVE SPOILERS AHEAD!
‘House Of Cards’ Frank Pushes Zoe In Front Of Train
Nothing says Valentine’s Day love quite like pushing your ex-mistress in front of a train!
At least that’s what Frank (Kevin Spacey) must have been thinking when he pushed Zoe (Kate Mara) in front of a speeding D.C. Metro train towards the end of the season premiere. It was a sad end for the over-eager young reporter, who was oh-so-close to getting to the bottom of Peter Russo’s mysterious death from last season.
If anything, Zoe’s shocking, violent death served its purpose by letting us know that when it comes to Frank Underwood, we should always expect the unexpected. Watching him watch Peter die while doing nothing about it was tough enough, but violently thrusting a young woman in front of a speeding train was something else entirely.
What do you think about the show’s decision to kill of Zoe so quickly, HollywoodLifers? Do you think that it was a good move for the show? Let me know your thoughts in the comments, or else I’ll push you all in front of a train.
