The dynamic duo delivered a jaw-dropping collection that focused on unique fabrics and interesting cuts. The sophisticated yet edgy looks were extremely bold and beautiful — and we can’t wait to see them on the red carpet.
Issac Franco and Ken Kaufman are known for their exquisite designs, and their Fall 2014 collection did not disappoint! As we celebrated the outstanding show, someone else was also celebrating a special occasion. Kelly Rowland started off her birthday celebration sitting front row at the KaufmanFranco show! What better way to celebrate than a little fashion glam?
Kaufmanfranco Fall 2014 Collection:
The sensual collection started off with the perfect transition into the fall color swatch we all love. The runway was filled with beautiful black and white silhouettes with very interesting cutouts along the front and backs of the dresses creating really cool geometric designs. There was a sophisticated mix of oversized coats as well as floor-length fitted gowns. We noticed a trend to try: white leather was incorporated into a lot of the looks! The show quickly transitioned into a very glitzy feminine vibe. The dresses had a lot of open back detailing and the silhouettes were gathered around the neck. My favorite looks were in a breathtaking pale blue. These evening gowns had some simple detail which really stood out against the washed out, subtle blue color. In the final pieces the designers presented metallic evening gowns which we thought was the perfect way to end the show! The designers stayed true to their notorious creative flare and designed some remarkable fall looks.
We know Kelly Rowland enjoyed the fabulous show and we think Kaufmanfranco is one of her fav designers as we saw her sporting a Kaufmanfranco look on The Jay Leno Show this past year. We also discovered another Kaufmanfranco fan, Jennifer Hudson, who stunned when she wore a gorgeous, white long-sleeved Kaufmanfranco gown to the 2014 People’s Choice Awards. These two men have quite the flare for women’s fashion!
