Kristen Stewart has made some mistakes in the past, the biggest coming in 2012 when she had a brief affair with married director Rupert Sanders while she was in a relationship with Twilight co-star Robert Pattinson, but in an interview with Marie Claire, she says she “stands by every mistake” she’s ever made.
Kristen recently revealed that she has embraced the perception of herself as someone who “just can’t handle” the spotlight. The 23-year-old who gained fame from starring in the Twilight films, said, “I don’t try to force it or turn it into something else or fabricate this personality.” Kristen added that she now lives a “fly-by-the-seat-of-your-pants lifestyle.”
Interesting how only two years after her alleged hook up with her Snow White and the Huntsman director, which ended her relationship with Robert, she has now decided to go with the flow.
When the story broke back in July of 2012 the young star was singing a very different tune about her adulterous “mistake.” Kristen was “absolutely devastated,” and realized her actions were a “mistake and complete lapse in judgment,” a source told People.
Kristen even issued a public apology, and she and Robert reconciled for a time but the two broke up in 2013.
Those don’t seem like the actions of someone who was or is at peace with their mistakes, and many still believe she’s in love with Robert. “You don’t know who you are going to fall in love with. You just don’t. You don’t control it,” Kristen also Marie Claire.
