Nick Jonas Meets Niece Alena Rose — Adorable First Instagram Pic
It’s been nearly a week since Alena Rose Jonas was welcomed into the world by her parents, Kevin and Danielle Jonas. However, one very important person has only just met Alena for the first time — new uncle Nick Jonas!
For the first time ever on Feb. 6 Nick Jonas, 21, was able to cradle his newborn niece Alena Rose Jonas in his arms. Of course the Jonas Brothers singer was sure to capture the moment on camera, and he later shared it on Instagram with some of the most important people in his life — his fans! How cute does Nick look holding tiny Alena?
Nick Jonas Meets Niece Alena Rose
On Feb. , Kevin and Danielle Jonas welcomed their first child together, Alena Rose Jonas. Kevin and his brother-in-law Mikey Deleasa kept the world updated with tweets and photos from inside the hospital, while Dreft laundry detergent debuted the first photo of Alena gazing up at her mommy, Danielle.
However, it wasn’t until Alena was five days old that she finally got to meet her Uncle Nick.
“I get to meet my niece Alena Rose tomorrow.. I’m so excited,” Nick wrote on Twitter the day before sharing his first photo with his niece on Instagram.
‘As One Life Ends, Another Begins’
Alena’s arrival could not have come at a better time. On Jan. 28 the Jonas family suffered a major loss: Denise Jonas‘ father, Jerry Miller, passed away.
“Yesterday I lost a best friend. A mentor. A ray if light, and the best grandfather anyone could ever ask for. I love you papa and will miss you very much.” Nick shared along with a photo of his grandfather on Instagram.
The day Alena was born, Kevin’s other brother, Joe, was quick to share the positive turn of events on Twitter: “As one life ends, another begins. Incredibly happy to be an uncle for the first time. Welcome to this world my beautiful niece.”
