‘Teen Mom 3’ star Mackenzie McKee is scheduled to give birth to her second child on Feb. 7, three weeks before her due date. A source revealed EXCLUSIVELY to HollywoodLife.com why Mackenzie has to give birth so early!
Mackenzie McKee, 19, is ready for her second child — a baby girl! The former 16 & Pregnant–turned-Teen Mom 3 star and her husband, Josh McKee, went to the hospital on Feb. 6, and now they’re all set to welcome their daughter into the world and to introduce her to their son, 2-year-old Gannon McKee. So, why is Mackenzie giving birth early at just 37 weeks pregnant?
Mackenzie McKee Giving Birth Early Due To Health Concerns
Mackenzie is currently in the hospital awaiting the birth of her second child, a daughter, by C-section. The procedure is scheduled for noon on Feb. 7, a source revealed to HollywoodLife.com EXCLUSIVELY.
Though Mackenzie is only at 37 weeks, her doctor decided to bump up the scheduled C-section due to the fact that her blood sugar keeps dropping. As many of you know, Mackenzie suffers from Type 1 diabetes which caused her baby bump to grow at a more rapid rate than normal.
Josh Serenades Mackenzie On Last Day Of Pregnancy
This isn’t the first C-section for Mackenzie; she welcomed her first child, her son Gannon, via C-section after appearing on 16 & Pregnant with his father, Josh. The couple later married in August 2013 in front of 200 of their loved ones in Pittsburg, Kansas.
Before heading to the hospital to prepare for her C-section, Mackenzie relaxed by taking a bath while her hubby Josh played the guitar for her. How romantic!
“Last day of being pregnant = a nice hot bath and Josh playing me some music,” Mackenzie captioned an Instagram video.
What do you think, HollyMoms? Are you excited to meet Mackenzie’s new daughter?
