Finally there is some Lindsay Lohan related news we can enjoy! The star from ‘Mean Girls’ recently reunited with Daniel Franzese, the man who plays Damian in the 2004 box office hit. Their reunion draws an obvious thought, however — we want an official ‘Mean Girls’ sequel!
Lindsay Lohan hasn’t been in the news very much lately, but even when she has been, it hasn’t been for the right reasons. Now, finally, we can enjoy Lindsay’s presence in the news and reminisce on her good times! The 27-year-old was spotted in New York City with Daniel Franzese, 35, well known for playing Damian in the film Mean Girls. Lindsay (who played the lead role of Cady Heron) hit up Instagram and posted a photo of the two at Bodega Negra, a restaurant in NYC.
‘Mean Girls’ Stars Lindsay Lohan & Daniel Franzese Reunite
Technically, there already has been a Mean Girls sequel, Mean Girls 2, but that movie was nothing more than a cheap ABC Family film that garnered highly negative reviews. To top it off, the film starred a completely different cast. We don’t view this as the official sequel — so we want an OFFICIAL sequel!
That would be so fetch!
In an interview with Clevver News last year, Rachel McAdams (Regina George) said that ten years from now, a Mean Girls reunion would be fun. “It would be great to revisit that, I mean I loved that movie so much,” she said. “She was such a fun character to play. God, Regina George in 20 years.”
Lindsay Lohan’s Reality Show Gets A Set Date
Lindsay Lohan has a reality show that is set to debut on Mar. 10. The Oprah-produced show, titled Lindsay, follows Lindsay on her journey through recovery after a very rough period of time.
Oh my! Is this a good thing or a bad thing for Lindsay, who has been on TV many times before for not-so-good reasons?
What do you think HollywoodLifers? Would you be excited for a Mean Girls reunion down the road? Let us know!
