Jay Leno will host his final episode of ‘The Tonight Show’ on Feb. 6, but not everyone is wishing him a fond farewell. Fans of the legendary host’s late-night rival, Conan O’Brien, are taking to Twitter to diss Jay on his last day.
It seems Conan O’Brien fans still haven’t forgiven Jay Leno for ruining the redheaded comedian’s chances of taking over as the host of The Tonight Show in 2009. Team Coco tweeted some harsh words about Jay on Feb. 6 — see what they had to say right here!

Fuck Jay Leno. Conan O’Brien is funnier than he could ever hope to be. He better actually retire and get his stupid chin off TV this time.

Geez — we love Conan just as much as the next guy, but we don’t think Jay deserves this kind of treatment!
Jay Leno: Why He’s Ready To Pass The Torch To Jimmy Fallon
During a recent interview with The Hollywood Reporter, the legendary chinterviewer confirmed he has no plans to hop back into the hosting chair, following his Feb. 6 exit from NBC’s The Tonight Show.
“Last time, I was told, ‘You’re leaving’; this time, honestly, I was asked,” Jay explained to THR. “When I signed [my last contract], I said, ‘This about the last go-round? OK.’ I was going to leave in September and then they said, ‘We have the Olympics and we’d like to launch Jimmy [Fallon] early. What if you left six months early? Would you do that?’ And we said, ‘Does the staff get paid? OK, fine.'”
Jay also admitted he’s “not really sad” because he’s had “a really good run” and it’s important for him to be “realistic.”
