‘Ravenswood’ fans can also expect a major twist about a suspicious character, and an ‘intense’ confrontation with the creator of the curse!
After months of screaming “What?” and “Why?” at our TV screens, the winter finale of Ravenswood is finally upon us! With Hanna (Ashley Benson) making a surprise visit, and some major pact secrets being revealed, the Feb. 4 episode is guaranteed to be the show’s craziest hour yet, so HollywoodLife.com hit up Tyler Blackburn for all the scoop.
Caleb Comes Clean
“[Hanna’s arrival] puts Caleb in a position where he has to tell her what’s going on, and it’s kind of nice because it puts the ball in her court,” Tyler told us. “It’s no longer him lying to her, or keeping her in the dark. She’s now fully aware of what’s going on, so it’s up to her to decide how to feel and what to do. It’s also good because you see how much they care for each other. The Haleb fans, especially, are going to love that.”
Of course, Hanna having the ball in her court might not be as great as Tyler hopes. Even though Miranda (Nicole Anderson) is technically dead, that doesn’t mean Hanna won’t harbor any jealousy towards her.
“Caleb doesn’t say, ‘I broke up with you because I also love Miranda,’ but in telling Hanna what’s been going on — the fact that Miranda has passed away — she starts to put the pieces together,” Tyler said. “She realizes it’s not as cut-and-dry as him having feelings for another girl.”
As for Caleb making another trip back to Rosewood to hash things out even further? Tyler told us it’s “possible.”
Bath Time, Anyone?
Naturally, I couldn’t talk to Tyler without discussing bath time — more specifically, Hanna’s scary spider bathtub scene, a touching tribute to Caleb’s bath from hell on the first episode of Ravenswood. And for the record, no, Tyler didn’t need to give Ashley any bath-filming pointers.
“She’s a pro; hello, have you seen Spring Breakers?” Tyler joked. “I’m not sure what [Ashley] was wearing in her bathtub scene, but I know I was wearing a thong. There’s not much to suggest. it’s more, ‘Hey, look at my ass!'”
The Curse, Unfurled
But it’s not all romantic drama. Tyler said we’ll also learn quite a bit about the curse, including who really started it.
“You start to see what [the Five are] up against, the creator of the curse,” Tyler explained. “They confront this man, and it’s intense. There’s also a character you’ll wonder about. You’ve been led to believe one thing, but then you’ll find out what’s really going on.”
And what would a winter finale be without a killer ending?
“There’s a huge cliffhanger at the end,” Tyler revealed. “It has to do with the jars of hair Collins keeps.”
