Super Bowl XLVIII was quite the game. While it wasn’t much of a competition (sorry, Broncos), it was full of great moments. From Percy Harvin’s return touchdown to the amazing halftime show, we’ve got all the best moments of the night right here!
Bruno Mars, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Peyton Manning and Russell Wilson — just a few people who created the best moments of the night! Click through our gallery for all the best moments of the 2014 Super Bowl!
Super Bowl 2014
The game wasn’t as competitive as we would have liked, but it was still full of amazing moments. It all started with Queen Latifah singing “America the Beautiful,” completely wowing us all. Then opera singer Renee Fleming, took on the huge task of singing the National Anthem. While it’s usually a pop star who takes on the huge task, Renee’s version was seriously amazing and her incredible voice was incredibly impressive.
One of the best moments of the night had to be Bruno Mars and Red Hot Chili Peppers taking the stage for the Super Bowl halftime show — Bruno even performed the beginning of “Give It Away,” introducing RHCP — of course, Flea and Anthony Keidis came out shirtless (and looked amazing).
Now let’s get to the game. While we were shocked it wasn’t at all a close game, it was still pretty entertaining. The Seahawks were leading 22-0 after the first half, and right when they got the ball in the beginning of the second half, Percy Harvin ran it back for another touchdown, making the score 29-0 — and that was only the first 12 seconds of the second half.
We’ve got to say the more entertaining part of the night was the commercials — from a Full House reunion to a Radio Shack commercial starring Hulk Hogan, Alf and Chucky, the commercials were the best part of the whole night!
Congrats to the Seattle Seahawks!
