Jesse is joining the star-studded cast, along with big-screen legend Jeremy Irons.
Jesse Eisenberg is getting really good at playing billionaires! The one-time Mark Zuckerberg has landed the highly-coveted role of Superman’s human nemesis Lex Luthor in the upcoming Man of Steel sequel, HollywoodLife.com‘s sister site Variety is reporting.
Though details about the movie are still scarce, we’re just hoping that playing Lex won’t require Jesse to shave that glorious head of curls.
Prior to Jesse’s casting, it was rumored — and by that, I mean fans on the internet really wanted it — that Breaking Bad star Bryan Cranston was being considered for the role, but clearly, that didn’t pan out.
‘Man Of Steel’ Sequel: Jeremy Irons Cast As Alfred
But Jesse isn’t the only A-lister joining the ‘Batman/Superman’ picture. Big-screen legend Jeremy Irons has also been cast as Alfred, Bruce Wayne’s dutiful-yet-smarmy butler.
Additionally, Gal Gadot will appear in the movie as Princess Diana of Themyscira — better known to the world as Wonder Woman.
HollywoodLifers, do you think Jesse and Jeremy are good choices to play these iconic characters? Drop a comment with your thoughts on the new Lex Luthor and Alfred below!
