In the bleak universe of ‘The Walking Dead’ it’s not will someone bite it (or get bitten) in the near future, it’s when — and who. Unfortunately, these two brand new trailers for the Feb. 9 midseason premiere have us worried that Maggie will be the next to go. Also, is that Carol?!
Oh The Walking Dead, you always know how to keep us guessing! A brand new trailer for the Feb. 9 midseason premiere, “After,” was revealed on Jan. 28, and it has us seriously worried about our beloved Maggie (Lauren Cohan). Additionally, a TV ad that ran on Jan. 26 teases the return of a very fan-favorite character! Check out both videos below!
‘Walking Dead’ New Season 4 Trailers: Will Maggie Be Next To Go?
As Gwen would say, his s–t is bananas.
“We’ll never get things back to the way things used to be,” a severely beaten up Rick (Andrew Lincoln) says as he and Carl (Chandler Riggs) assess the devastating damage done from the loss of their prison.
These new videos reveal a lot. We see Tyreese (Chad Coleman) struggling to survive with both Lizzie and Mika — those insane vigilante children that Carol trained — in tow, Daryl (Norman Reedus) and Michonne (Danai Gurira) kicking Walker ass, and, most troublingly, Maggie all by her lonesome, looking like she’s about to get eaten.
Typically Glenn (Steven Yeun) would help his lady out in that sort of situation, but as we learned in the last batch of trailers, he’s even worse off than she is!
Oh, and keep an eye out in the second video for that mysterious, feminine-looking hand that shows up carrying a gun behind Tyreese. Could this be Carol’s (Melissa McBride) big return? God, I hope so. Carol is freaking fantastic.
Check out both videos below, and let us know your thoughts in the comments!
