When Justin’s loved ones flew to Panama over the weekend, reportedly to stage an intervention for the troubled young pop star, he allegedly confessed to his manager, Scooter Braun, that he wants to ‘take a break from music.’ And you won’t believe what the Biebs reportedly wants to do instead!
Justin Bieber tried his best to escape his troubles by fleeing to Panama after his shocking DUI arrest in Miami on Jan. 23, but his friends and family weren’t about to let him off the hook that easy. Justin’s mother, Pattie Mallette, manager Scooter Braun and close friend Usher followed him to Panama, reportedly to have a much-needed sit-down with the singer. Unfortunately Justin still doesn’t seem to think he has a problem, allegedly saying that he simply needs a break from making music and touring. So what will he be doing with all his free time? He wants to open a tattoo parlor with his father, Jeremy Bieber, according to a new report.
Justin Bieber’s Break From Music? — His Intervention Confession To Loved Ones
Are you as shocked as we are by Justin’s reported career goal?
“Justin told Scooter and Usher he needs to take a break from making music and touring,” a source on Justin’s team reportedly told Radar Online. “He complained that he toured for most of last year and he hasn’t had a chance to catch his breath. His short-term plans include opening a tattoo parlor with his dad. They have talked about it for a very long time. It’s his dream for it to be a very high-end parlor, unlike anything currently out there.”
“Justin wants to take control of his life and not be out on the road in a different city every other night,” the source added.
Justin’s friends and family totally understand him wanting to take some time for himself, but they’re worried he’ll just end up getting into more trouble.
“Justin team is concerned that he’ll just sit around and do nothing,” the source said. “Continue to party with his buddies. Everyone respects Justin’s desire for some down time, but too much idle time is when he typically gets in trouble. He needs structure and a routine to keep him out of trouble.”
Universal CEO: Justin Bieber Needs An Intervention
Many people in Justin’s life seem to agree that what he needs is professional help, not a vacation.
Even Lucian Grainge, the CEO of Justin’s musical label Universal, says the Biebs “needs help and an intervention.” Lucian is promising to “take as much pressure off” the singer as possible “so he can look forward,” Radar reports.
“I’m very concerned about him — I’ve been concerned about him for many months” Lucian says. “This [has] to do with the young man… hopefully, we will all get through to him.”
So what do YOU think, HollywoodLifers? Should Justin take a break from music? Let us know.
