The newly released Blu-ray rewards fans with bonus content and beautiful packaging.

If you thought Machete Kills was crazy in theaters — and, make no mistake, it definitely was — then your mind will be completely blown by the movie’s Blu-ray release, which is fully loaded with more extras than you could shake Sofia Vergara‘s penis-gun at.

‘Machete Kills’ On Blu-ray: Special Features

For starters, you’ve got “Making Machete Kills,” a 20-minute feature that takes fans behind the scenes of the A+ B-movie sequel. Seeing the finished product was unsettling enough, but watching how it all came together might be even more so. Honestly, my only complaint is that I wish the segment was longer — and that’s coming from someone with the attention span of… sorry, I lost my train of thought.

‘Machete Kills’ Review: It’s Just So Good

Now, if you haven’t seen Machete Kills, it’s the sequel to 2010’s Machete, following Danny Trejo‘s titular character as he helps the U.S. Government stop a Mexican arms dealer from launching a weapon into outer space. If that’s not crazy enough for you, the President of the United States is played by Charlie Sheen, and the aforementioned arms dealer is portrayed by none other than Mel Gibson.

With additional performances by Michelle RodriguezAmber Heard and even Lady Gaga — and that’s just the tip of the iceberg — the movie is a delightful romp into the deepest, weirdest corners of writer/director Robert Rodriguez‘s brilliant mind.

In a nutshell, if you loved Machete Kills, you’d be crazy not to pick up the film, now available on Blu-ray.
