Hey, this looks like that mugshot we saw recently! On Jan. 24, Justin was finally getting out of the city where he was arrested for DUI and drag racing, and while wading through a huge crowd of fans, the singer beamed as if he had no worries in the world.
Apparently Justin Bieber does still have plenty to smile about. He certainly seemed unfazed by being arrested for DUI and drag racing on Jan. 23 and spending half a day in jail, as he grinned and laughed while leaving the Miami mansion he was residing in the next day. So what do you think: Does Justin need to be taking this whole situation more seriously?
Justin Bieber Smiles & Laughs Leaving Miami
After being released from jail, Justin spent more than 24 hours holed up in a castle-like Miami mansion. But late on Jan. 24, it was finally time to get out of Dodge, and that’s when the singer was spotted leaving with his dad Jeremy, as an assistant loaded their luggage (and Justin’s skateboards, of course) into an SUV.
It was total mob scene outside of the mansion, and Justin waded through the throngs of Beliebers and media members with a huge smile on his face, giggling and signing autographs.
Justin also left several messages for those loyal fans after going silent in the wake of his arrest for DUI and drag racing. He first broke his silence by comparing himself to Michael Jackson — as he presumably sees it, they’re both kings of pop who were unfairly persecuted. A little later Justin then tweeted to Beliebers:
YOU ARE ALL WORTHY NO MATTER WHAT ANYONE SAYS >> BE STRONG GOD IS WITH US ALL> MY BELIEBERS CHANGED MY LIFE> I WILL FOREVER BE GRATEFUL
— Justin Bieber (@justinbieber) January 24, 2014
And then, likely just before he left the Miami compound, he Instagrammed a selfie with a caption thanking the Lord.
Justin Bieber: Is He Taking His Arrest Seriously?
But as we asked when Justin’s tooth-baring mugshot was released, is he taking this very grave situation seriously? The smiles and the laughing, and the messages of grandeur on social media, all seem to suggest that he isn’t, and that he thinks he’s bigger than the DUI and drag racing charges.
Then again, that attitude may just be a coping mechanism, as Dr. Lillian Glass told HollywoodLife.com exclusively. “This is not a genuine smile,” she affirmed. “He is scared to death. He is frightened. He is trying to put on a good show. But inside, he is scared to death.”
So what do you think, HollywoodLifers? Is Justin just trying to be strong, or do these latest pictures make you think he isn’t taking his arrest seriously? Let us know!
