Just when you thought Justin Bieber couldn’t be in any more trouble, he goes and gets himself arrested in Miami. On Jan. 23, the singer was pulled over by police for drag racing and was subsequently charged with a suspected DUI, resisting arrest, and driving on an expired license. It was not a pretty sight — but you can watch it below.
Justin Bieber: Watch The Video Of Police Pulling Him Over
The whole fiasco started because Justin (with model Chantel Jeffries riding shotgun) was allegedly racing another Lamborghini around 4 a.m. in a residential area near Pine Tree Drive and 26th Street. The other car was driven by Khalil, a rapper signed to Def Jam Records, according to TMZ. People in Justin’s camp allegedly even blocked off the street for the drag race, TMZ reports.
In the video, you can see the moment that Justin’s yellow Lambo is pulled over. Multiple cop cars — all of their lights flashing — surround the car in preparation of taking Justin in.
Justin Bieber’s DUI Arrest
After Justin was pulled over, police suspected that he was driving under the influence. “He was offered a sobriety test and he failed,” Sgt. Bobby Hernandez of the Miami-Dade Police Department told HollywoodLife.com exclusively. Justin was reportedly also charged with resisting arrest because he refused to take his hands out of his pockets when ordered to do so, according to TMZ.
Currently, the singer remains in police custody: “He’s at the Miami Beach Police Department and once he is processed he will be taken to the Miami-Dade County Jail and it’ll be about eight hours from the time he was taken in, it’ll be a minimum of noon before he is released. He will not go before a judge because it is a traffic violation,” Sgt. Hernandez told us.
Just by watching the video and seeing the police attention that Justin’s latest antics drew, it’s obvious how serious of a situation this is. He has been pushing the envelope for a while now, and it may finally be backfiring on him. What do you think, HollywoodLifers? Watch the video and let us know!
