The ‘Dancing With the Stars’ pro showed off her stellar moves all while rocking trendy gear — and it’s so refreshing to know that you don’t have to break the bank to rock a cool workout look!

As much as I enjoy hitting the gym in my old, oversized college tee, I must admit nothing gets me in the mood to shape up quite like some new workout wear. While it seems like every other gal at the gym is rocking pricey clothing, I just can’t justify splurging on something I wear while I sweat — I much rather invest the money in a pretty new accessory or an outfit I can wear when I’m not at the gym. Luckily, Karina Smirnoff exhibits the perfect solution in her latest look. Believe it or not, it is possible to benefit from the latest technological advancements in breathable fabrics without breaking the bank. So put down your faded tee and read on if you want to update your workout gear without having to splurge!

Karina Smirnoff’s Workout Tips — Get Her Affordable Outfit:

Karina was ready to break a sweat when we caught up with her at JCPenney’s New Year, New You Fitness event at JCPenney’s SoHo showroom in NYC on Jan. 15, where the Dancing With The Stars pro shared her tips on scoring the perfect workout look. “I like to feel sexy, cause like you work out in order to stay healthy, in order to get into shape, so I’m not a huge fan of, you know, wearing old sweats,” she said.

Valentine’s Day Outfits

Karina may prefer rocking a sexy look, but it certainly works for her! She selected a colorful get-up, which all came from JCPenney’s Xersion line. Not only are the silhouettes perfect for working out, but some of the breathable items even offer up UV protection — which is obviously so important if you’re working out outdoors! Karina was sporting the Fitted Ankle Leggings, which retail for $21.99. She rocked them with her $7.99 Seamless Sports Bra in hot pink and a racerback top, (which clocked in at $4.99).

Hitting the gym in the new year might be on the top the list, and there’s no better way to motivate yourself than with a stylish and practical new get-up — and it’s so refreshing to know you don’t need to splurge to rock a fashionable look to workout in!
