Jon Gosselin has had en0ugh! After watching his ex-wife, Kate, humiliate their twin daughters on the ‘Today’ show, he’s hoping he can save their 9-year-old sextuplets from a similar fate by becoming their primary caretaker.
Jon Gosselin feels his kids aren’t safe in Kate Gosselin‘s care, so he’s planning to sue her for primary custody of sextuplets Aaden, Alexis, Collin, Hannah, Joel and Leah, 9. The kids are terrified of Kate and “they tell me they want to live with me,” Jon says.
Jon Gosselin & Kate Gosselin Custody Battle — He Wants Custody Of Sextuplets
Twins Cara and Mady‘s cringeworthy Today show interview was the last straw for Jon, who says he wants to make sure the rest of his children have a chance at a “normal childhood.”
“They live in fear of Kate,” Jon tells InTouch magazine. “Every time I see them, they tell me they want to live with me.”
Jon is accusing Kate of violating their custody agreement by not letting him watch their sextuplets when she left Pennsylvania with Mady and Cara. He plans to file for primary custody as soon as he can save the necessary funds for lawyers and paperwork fees.
“First, I’m going to file for an emergency petition for contempt … The next step is to fight for custody,” Jon tells the mag. “It’s the only way I can protect the younger six.”
“Regardless of what the judge decides, I have to at least try,” Jon adds. “I just wish Kate would wake up, realize how she’s behaving — and change her ways.”
Kate Gosselin Easily Upset By Kids’ Behavior: Jon Gosselin Fears Overbearing Parenting
Jon says Cara and Mady’s behavior on the Today show is indicative of a larger issue with their mom. “You can’t breathe the wrong way without upsetting her,” he told InTouch. “The kids have to ask before they get a drink, before they get a snack, before they open the fridge, before they got to the bathroom. It’s ridiculous.”
“They have problems adjusting with their peers,” Jon said of his eight kids. “They are well-mannered, and that is great, but when we go into an environment with other children, they cling to me. They don’t go out into the playground or make new friends.”
What do YOU think HollyMoms? Should Jon sue Kate for primary custody of their sextuplets? Do you think they would be in better hands with him? Let us know.
