Directed by Romain Gavras, Robert Pattinson‘s Dior Homme commercial already has 17 million views on YouTube and will air on American television for the first time in February. The short will promote Dior Homme Eau for Men, a new fragrance with notes of grapefruit, coriander and amber. Robert Pattinson For Dior Homme — New Eau for Men Commercial
Rob spoke to The Wall Street Journal on Jan. 21 about why he loves the brand and the ad campaign so much:
“I like trying to do ambitious things. That’s what got me really enthusiastic about the campaign, that [Dior] wasn’t shying away from anything.”
Indeed, the ads we have seen have been quite steamy, with Rob passionately kissing model Camille Rowe.
Rob Spills His Grooming Must-Haves
“I was a brush-your-teeth-and-have-a-shower kind of guy. I can’t tell if it’s because of my association with Dior or because I’m older, but I’ve started moisturizing,” Rob says.
He admitted to using Dior’s Dermo System Repairing Moisturizing Emulsion. “It’s been a quite profound change in my life,” he says with a laugh.
Rob told the WSJ that he like the fragrance best in the shower-gel form. The laid-back guy says he lives in Nudie jeans and “old Hanes T-shirts.”
