We got a serious look into the troubles Khloe and Lamar were going through on the season nine premiere of ‘Keeping Up with the Kardashians’ on Jan. 19, and it was so unfair that Lamar just cut Khloe out.
Lamar Odom Shouldn’t Have Cut Out Khloe Kardashian
Khloe has always had a hard time finding love and it’s so horrible that Lamar basically chose his drug addiction over her.
On the premiere, Khloe tried reaching out to Lamar to warn him about the excessive paparazzi — something that they had to constantly deal with throughout their relationship.
She didn’t want to call him at first, she said, but as a wife she put her anger aside. Of course, he didn’t answer the phone and sent her to voicemail. She tried so hard to help him, over and over again, and not communicating back was so unnecessary and rude.
After breaking down in the car to Kourtney Kardashian, she admitted that Lamar had called Malika [Haqq] to tell her to tell Bruce Jenner and Kris Jenner that he was sorry — she made a good point and said “Tell Khloe you’re f–king sorry.”
Khloe Shouldn’t Have To Hide Because Of Lamar
It was so sad that Khloe felt the need to hide from paparazzi, from everyone, because of Lamar’s drug use. She even said that she shouldn’t have to since she didn’t do anything — it’s true. He was the one who wouldn’t let her help him, yet she still got attacked every time she stepped out. It also associated her with drug use, Skid Row, etc. which must be so hard.
It’s really heartbreaking. In the earlier seasons we saw Khloe go through bad relationships and so many trust issues, so when she fell in love with Lamar (in a month), it was so nice to see. He seemed so right for her.
Not every relationship works and the Kardashians know that, but for Lamar to completely cut her out — not answer her calls, get a prepaid phone, avoid everyone — it’s just really sad for Khloe. At the end of the day, that’s her husband. In a marriage, it’s so important to communicate and the fact that he cut her out definitely proves that calling it off and filing for a divorce was the right thing to do.
