Farrah Abraham is finally showing she’s trying to get help on season 2 of Couples Therapy, and her ex Daniel Alvarez revealed that he appeared on the reality TV show to try and give her some honest criticism about their relationship to aid the process. He also revealed he hadn’t previously seen her since their breakup, which was aired on the final season of Teen Mom!
Farrah and Daniel had far from a stable relationship while starring on MTV’s Teen Mom, so it might seem odd that he would want anything to do with her after their breakup, especially on television. Daniel spoke out to explain he wanted to let Farrah know what he thinks went wrong.
“I agreed to appear on the show because I saw an opportunity for me to clear the air regarding Farrah and [my] past relationship,” Daniel told The Ashley’s Reality Roundup on his decision to appear on Couples Therapy. “In addition and most importantly, I felt it was a good time to give Farrah some direct and honest feedback on what I experienced during our time together.”
Does Daniel just want to gain more media attention from Farrah? He says no. “I only hope that my participation in the program helps Farrah realize some of her faults and aids her in becoming a better girlfriend and person altogether,” he said.
Does Daniel’s upcoming appearance on the show has mean the two are getting back together? “Although I didn’t see Farrah’s initial reaction, I don’t believe she was surprised. She looked more upset than anything,” he told The Ashley. In fact, he and Farrah haven’t spoken since their televised breakup. “I have not kept in contact with Farrah. The last time we spoke [before this] was during our breakup and the last communication with her was a few days later when she was texting me all sorts of obscenities.”
It looks like we can’t count on a romantic reunion anytime soon!
