Jimmy Fallon has less than a month left at ‘Late Night’ but he’s going out with a bang! He took on the infamous September traffic jam and took some serious jabs at Chris Christie in a new skit — watch the video below!

On Jan. 14, Jimmy Fallon appeared on stage to perform “Gov. Christie’s Fort Lee, New Jersey Traffic Jam,” a custom song set to the music of Bruce Springsteen’s hit “Born to Run.” He wasn’t on stage alone for long — the Boss himself joined him in the song mocking Governor Chris Christie!

While the scandal surrounding the traffic jam on the George Washington bridge isn’t one that Gov. Christie is laughing about, Jimmy thought it was the perfect topic for a joke.

Coming out on stage in a throw-back Springsteen outfit — a denim cut-off tee, sunglasses and a red bandana, the Late Night with Jimmy Fallon host began a hilarious mocking video.

“In the day we sweated out on the streets, stuck in traffic on the GWB,” Fallon sang in his best (and it was a good one) impersonation of Springsteen in his “Born in the U.S.A.” days. “They shut down the toll booths of glory cause we didn’t endorse Christie. Sprung form cages on Highway 9, we got three lanes closed, so Jersey, get your a– in line. Oh, maybe this Bridgegate was just payback, it’s a bi-ch slap to the state Democrats. We gotta get out while we can. We’re stuck in Governor Chris Christie’s Fort Lee New Jersey traffic jam.”

When Bruce joined him, wearing the same outfit, he sang verse two:

“Governor, let me in. I want to be your friend, there’ll be no partisan divisions. Let me wrap my legs round your mighty ribs, relieve your stressful condition,” the Boss, 64, sang. “You’ve got Wall Street masters stuck cheek-to-cheek with blue collar truckers, and man I really gotta take a leak, but I can’t. I’m stuck in Gov. Chris Christie’s Fort Lee New Jersey traffic jam.”

Fallon & Springsteen: ‘The Press Conference Went On & On’

Next up, Fallon took a jab at that press conference that took over an hour and a half.

“Highway’s jammed with pissed off drivers with no place left to go, and the press conference went on and on,” Jimmy then jumped in before being interrupted by Bruce, who laughed at himself by singing, “It was longer than one of my own damn shows.”

They ended it with, “Someday governor, I don’t know when, this will all end, but till then you’re killing the working man, who’s stuck in the Governor Chris Christie Fort Lee New Jersey traffic jam.”

It was probably one of the best skits by Jimmy, and well … Bruce is always a hit. The most hilarious part of it all is that Gov. Christie has said in the past that he’s a huge fan of the Boss, and has been to over 130 of his shows. Hopefully that hasn’t changed!

What do you think of the song, HollywoodLifers? Let us know!

Of all of the SNL male actors—-Fallon bores me the most, {and female wise it would be Fey}……Don’t get me wrong I don’t care that much either for the whale {Christie}
