So sad! The family of Playboy Playmate and model Cassandra Lynn Hensley has been informed of her passing after she was reportedly found dead in her friend’s bathtub on Jan. 15. No foul play is suspected and the results of her autopsy should be available on Jan. 17.
Police are investigating Cassandra’s death as a potential drug overdose, according to TMZ, and we could learn the truth as soon as tomorrow, Jan. 17. Lt. David Smith of the Los Angeles County Dept. of Coroner tells HollywoodLife.com EXCLUSIVELY:
“The body of Cassandra Lynn is being examined today to determine the cause of death. Her next of kin has been notified. She was found unresponsive yesterday (Jan. 15) in Marina del Rey at 8:56 a.m. The results of today’s examination should most likely be available sometime tomorrow.”
Cassandra, who was Playboy‘s Miss Feburary in 2006, was reportedly found floating in a bath tub in her friend’s home. Her friend called in the report as a possible overdose but Cassandra had already passed away by the time paramedics arrived at the home, police sources told TMZ.
The model’s Twitter account (@missfeb06) automatically updates her feed each day to the horoscope for her sign (Leo).
On Jan. 16, the following eery message was tweeted out:
“Unspoken obligations prevent you from doing what you wish today, but your guilt may drive your inaction more than any real responsibilities,” the horoscope read. “No matter what you do now, you might not feel completely fulfilled. Working harder isn’t the answer, but neither is escape. Do what is required, but don’t take on additional tasks for the wrong reasons. Ultimately, satisfaction will be yours as long as you direct your energy toward obtaining tangible results.”
Our thoughts and prayers go out to Cassandra’s family during this difficult time.
