When I first saw the photo of Taylor and Jared chatting at the Golden Globes, I was completely caught off guard. However I’ve got a hunch that this could actually work! They are 18 years apart in age, but that is nothing but a number.
Jared Leto may be 42, but that doesn’t mean Taylor Swift isn’t attracted to him — he’s a good looking, successful musician — so we already know they have that in common. It’s no surprise that they had a connection at the InStyle Golden Globes After Party.
Jared Leto & Taylor Swift Dating? — Why It Could Work
Alright, so let me just start by saying I get it — they’re probably just friends talking about how much she loves 30 Seconds to Mars, because… well, who doesn’t?
However, after their super cute pics together at the after party, I’ve got to say that this could actually work.
Jared and Taylor are both extremely creative when it comes to their work, not to mention totally dedicated.
“Hard work pays off. It’s a great cliché to keep re-learning. And if you push yourself, challenge yourself, you can sometimes surprise yourself,” Jared told Elle magazine in October. We know that Taylor is all about pushing herself and working hard — she’s only 24 and already so successful.
Jared: Why He’s Taylor’s Type
We’ve got to say that at the Globes, where Jared took home Best Supporting Actor for his role in Dallas Buyers Club, he looked super sexy! He was noticeably rocking a full beard, which we know that Taylor loved when she was with Jake Gyllenhaal! And he was in a serious relationship with Cameron Diaz for four years so we know he’s into blond nice girls too!
Regardless if Taylor and Jared get romantic or not, we’ve got a feeling that they would make seriously amazing music.
Taylor needs a little more rock in her sound so adding a bit of “The Kill” to her “Red” sound, it could get really interesting and really expand her horizon.
Plus, he’s a bad boy with a soft side — that’d be a perfect subject for Taylor’s next songwriting session. (And if he doesn’t break her heart, she could finally stop writing about heartbreak.)
