Scott and Kourtney raced to NYC when they learned that Scott’s father had unexpectedly passed away, now HollywoodLife.com has learned that the couple are planning his father’s intimate funeral, for the upcoming weekend in Long Island.
Scott Disick is in the midst of planning another parent’s funeral. The reality star has now suffered two tragedies in the past three months, his mother Bonnie Disick passed away in November, and now his father Jeffrey Disick, unexpectedly died on Jan. 4. HollywoodLife.com can tell you that Scott is currently making funeral arrangements with Kourtney Kardashian and figuring out what to do with his father’s home in Eastport, Long Island.
Scott Disick Planning Father’s Funeral
The funeral is set to be held this upcoming weekend in Long Island, NY., and it will only consist of a few relatives and close friends. No other Kardashians are expected to fly up for the funeral. The same went for his mother’s funeral.
“Scott is devastated but Kourtney is keeping him strong, she’s the one mainly handling everything,” the source tells us. “Without Kourtney, I don’t know what Scott would do. She is helping plan the funeral, she’s really doing it all. She knows what he’s going through because she lost her dad, so she can relate to Scott better than anyone right now.”
Scott ‘Devastated’ Over Parent’s Deaths
The reality star is upset not only because his parents are now gone but because he is an only child, with no remaining family. His mother Bonnie died in November, she had been battling a longterm disease.
“The whole family is so devastated and Scott is beside himself,” a source tells E! News. “Scott is an only child with no remaining family.”
Since his dad’s passing, Scott has not posted to his social media accounts, nor has he released a comment regarding his father’s passing.
Scott and Kourtney were last spotted together in Park City, Utah with the rest of the Kardashian-Jenner clan on a family holiday vacation on New Year’s eve.”
