How sweet! Kaley Cuoco married Ryan Sweeting on New Year’s Eve, and now sources close to the duo say that she’ll be taking his last name!
After their whirlwind courtship, Kaley Cuoco, 28, married Ryan Sweeting, 26, on Dec. 31. The pair got engaged in September 2013 after dating for only 3 months, and now Us Weekly is reporting that Kaley will take on Ryan’s last name. The Sweetings haven’t done anything in their relationship by half-measure so far, so it definitely makes sense for Kaley to become a Sweeting. (Besides, how adorable is that name?)
Kaley Cuoco To Take Husband Ryan Sweeting’s Last Name
When Kaley and Ryan got engaged in Sept. 2013, they were certainly moving quickly. But a source told Us Weekly that Kaley knew Ryan was “the one” and that “when you know, you know.” Couldn’t agree more! Kaley and Ryan seem super happy together!
Kaley looked absolutely gorgeous at her Dec. 31 ceremony in a non-traditional pink wedding dress by Vera Wang. Pre-ceremony, she wore a beautiful red dress, once again by the talented Vera Wang. She also wore her blonde hair in casual, loose waves around her shoulders instead of a more traditional updo. We think that her choices were perfect for the wedding of two people who clearly march to the beat of their own drum.
Kaley Cuoco On Her Relationship With Ryan Sweeting: ‘We’re Still On Our First Date’
On Kaley’s Nov. 7 appearance on Ellen, she acknowledged that their speedy courtship “looked a little crazy to some people.” When telling the story of how she and Ryan both met, she told Ellen, “[My friends] gave [Ryan] my number and he texted me and he’s like, ‘I’m coming to L.A.’ So now I’m like, ‘So now I have to see this guy, do I have to hang out with him all weekend, he’s going to be here for days, and effort and this whole thing.’ So, we go and have a dinner date and we’re still on our first date; he never went home.”
How sweet is that? We’re so glad to see that their first date is still going strong and we hope that the Sweetings have a long and happy future together!
What do you think, HollywoodLifers? Do you think it’s sweet(ing) that Kaley is taking Ryan’s last name? Will you be changing your last name when you get married? If you are already married, did you change your name? Why or why not? Let us know!
