Tori’s husband allegedly cheated on her and now a new report claims that she’s really worried about her finances, because they never signed a prenup! Do you think Tori should have had a prenup before marrying Dean in 2006?
Tori Spelling & Dean McDermott Don’t Have A Prenup
Tori, who is reportedly worth $1.5 million, did not draw up a prenup, according to RadarOnline.com. The actress, whose mother, Candy Spelling, is worth $600 million, is reportedly upset because she thought a prenup could have prevented Dean from cheating.
“Dean offered to sign one, but Tori refused,” a source says. “She truly believed Dean was her soul mate and there was zero need for a prenup.”
HollywoodLife.com reached out to Tori’s rep to find out if the allegations were true that she did not have a prenup, and we were told “no comment.”
Tori Claims She’s Broke
In October of 2013, Tori revealed in her book, Spelling It Like It Is, that she and Dean were barely getting by and that they had blown through millions of dollars.
After selling our Encino house at a loss, we were hoping to make a bit of the money back on Malibu. You heard of those people who flip houses to make money? We were the opposite: flippers who lost major sums of money on every transaction. My restlessness would be our financial ruin. My real estate compulsion had put us in serious debt,” she explains. “I’d worked so hard and earned so much, but I had nothing to show for it.
She also laughed that people think she’s a millionaire and that when she googled herself, she couldn’t believe people thought she had a ton of money.
“Once I was Googling myself to find an article I’d heard was published,” she wrote. “I typed ‘tori spelling’ into the search field and a bunch of options came up. One of them was “tori spelling net worth.” Curious, I clicked on it. Google thought I was worth fifteen million dollars. Fifteen million dollars! I didn’t have one million. We had some income here and there, but no savings apart from our retirement accounts.”
