Prince George In Queen Elizabeth II’s Christmas Video: See New Footage Of Royal Baby
The Queen honored the little prince in her Christmas video, and reflected on her family’s future. “Here at home, my own family it is a little larger this Christmas,” the Queen said in her video, which was recorded before the holiday in the Blue Drawing Room at Buckingham Palace.
“As so many of you will know, the arrival of a baby gives everyone the chance to contemplate the future, with renewed happiness and hope,” she continued. “For the new parents, life will never be quite the same again.”
Along with her emotional words, she featured brand new footage of Prince George bouncing in his father’s arms while being christened at his Oct. 2013 baptism — and posing on his mom’s lap during the full family photo shoot following the christening ceremony. We can see Kate praising her son for being so well-behaved during the photo session, even cooing “good boy!”
Prince George More Interested In Wrapping Paper Than Gifts
Fans of the royal baby were hoping to catch a glimpse of him as he headed to Christmas celebrations or church services with his parents, but Kate revealed that her baby was preoccupied by a fun task at home! When spectators asked Kate why George was skipping out on the early morning festivities, she said he was at home playing with his gifts’ wrapping paper!
“[Kate] told me he was having a lovely day but was more interested in the wrapping paper than the presents,” spectator Cicely Howard said, according to The Daily Mail. How adorable!
